Iron Ore Mine West is located in the Northwest corner of the map. It supplies iron ore in hoppers to be delivered to the Steel Mill. The mine also requires excavators on flatbed cars from the Machine Factory & Town.
The station is also able to service the S282 locomotive and has a repair station.
In Build 84, the developers have intended to force a S282 spawn on one of the parking tracks around the turntable. However, this is currently not working perfectly. A player may enter the station only to see an empty track. It is sometimes possible to solve this issue by restarting the game with the player near the station, but it does not necessarily work every time.
