The BE2-260 is a 2-axle battery-electric shunting locomotive. It was introduced in Build 98 and is unlocked by visiting Old Bob's garage.
Operation
The BE2 is meant to be used for yard operations. Its speedometer caps out at 30km/h. It has to be charged at special electric charging service stations. Once you unlock it, you own it and must maintain it out of pocket; there is only one BE2 in the Valley. It can be summoned using the work remote.
It is an extremely low-power locomotive. In a pinch, it can be used to give a train that's struggling to get uphill the slight kick it needs, but it can only boost the load rating of a train by about 50 tons.
