Weather

Weather is the state of the environment and atmosphere within the Valley. Environmental and weather systems were added in the Simulator update.

As of Build 95, it can either be clear, rainy, or stormy. Rain and storm cause the rails to become slippery, reducing traction and lowering the threshold at which sanding is necessary. Rain also covers locomotives' windows with water droplets, which can be cleared off using the windshield wipers. The daily forcast can be viewed at the bottom of the map at every Station Office.

There is also a day-night cycle, which lasts two hours (one hour of day, one hour of night).
