Intro

This page is about showcasing locomotives being pushed to the maximum and, through the demonstration, show how it can be succeeded.

It's expected that all data is backed by an accompanying video which may be sped up fast enough.

DM3

Dry

In the driest weather, the DM3 can probably haul nearly 1200T on a 1.8% gradient for as long as the sand lasts.

For example, out of the Steel Mill Southbound towards the Harbor

DE2

Dry

In dry weather , at no grade, with a slug attached, and a bit of patience the DE2 can command around 1340t or possibly more (not including the slug or the DE2).
